“Paradise”

A comedy about three Iranian Mullahs and their first journey to the West. Will it go well? Or will their prejudice towards the West persist?

Plot:

Two Iranian mullah-apprentices on their own in Berlin? How will this work out? Are these good-for-nothing apprentices supposed to represent Islam in religious conferences? Never! For the mullah professor, the answer is clear: He himself has to come along! He must guide his theology students to the right path in the land of the faithless. In a land where women dare to walk around without a headscarf just like that blonde girl who captivates one of the students with her beauty and makes him fall in love right away. And the other young apprentice is left speechless when their morally strict professor allows the student to take off on his own with the girl even though this would in fact never be allowed in Iran.
